Odds and Ends

This page has some of the stranger things we noticed while travelling, plus a selection of interesting doors.

The Toyota Yaris Hybrid car that took us for thousands of kilometres around France.
A sign in Budapest for an establishment that probably offers exactly what the sign says.
  Interesting sign in Wurzberg.
Sign on a shop selling tourist tatt in Rudesheim.
The château is open every day, but is closed on Tuesdays. *
Signs at a T-junction in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. One of the signs is obviously redundant: if you must turn right, you can't turn left.

"Snack the Big Fred" at Fontaine de Vaucluse.

Some Franglais at Fontaine de Vaucluse.
This strange plastic object did not induce me to buy an ice cream. Fontaine de Vaucluse again.
A fine collection of old road signs in the village of Cluny.
A nicely amended road sign in Paris.
Sign on a heater in the Basilica of St-Denis.
  Sign in Portland, Oregon.
And so on to a selection of interesting doors from our travels.
