Cambridge

Travelling to Cambridge, we spent some time in Lavenham, a town renowned for its old half-timbered buildings.

  The splendid church at Lavenham.
  Stained glass in Lavenham church.
  Another attractive tea shoppe.
Attractive buildings with rather less attractive motor vehicles.
  The countryside of East Anglia.
The gateway of the abbey at Bury St Edmunds.
This is about all that remains of the abbey itself.

Cambridge streetscape.
The chapel of King's College, Cambridge.

From Cambridge, it was off north to York.
