In 1997, Nick had an opportunity to attend a conference of university administrators at the University of Warwick, near Coventry. When the conference finished, he was joined by Lynn and their middle son, Cameron.
We travelled around the UK for about a month, then had far-too-brief stays in Rome, Athens, and Paris; and finished off with a week in London.
The map shows our route around Britain. With hindsight, we stayed in too many places: it would have been better to stay in fewer places and use them as bases. You can click on the map to get a larger version.
Because we moved around so much, each page shows places visited when driving to a place, as well as things seen there. We started in Windsor.
