We are Lynn and Nick, two people from Sydney who are just getting used to being able to travel now the kids have all left home. From 31 May to 16 July 2004, we had a fantastic touring holiday in France and Italy, as shown on the map. Click here for a larger version of the map.

We flew Sydney-Hong Kong-Paris, and immediately set off in a hire car for Semur-en-Auxois. Nick did all the driving, on what is, for us, the wrong side of the road. Lynn did all screaming. We then travelled clockwise round the route on the map, finishing with a week in Paris. We booked everything via the internet in advance, including a night at the wonderful Guy Savoy, a top class French restaurant in Paris

On the way back, we spent three days in Hong Kong visiting with a friend from our uni days and buying bargains.
